The Southwest Wine Center at Yavapai College is a premier wine industry and community resource, offering a comprehensive hands-on education from vineyard-to-bottle with programs in enology, viticulture and business/entrepreneurship through its estate vineyard, teaching winery, fully-operational tasting room, and region-wide wine industry research epicenter.

Arizona Wine Growers Association

The Arizona Wine Growers Association (AWGA) serves grape growers and winemakers in Arizona, allying its members for representation, promotion and education. The association strives to advance with integrity the sustainable growth and production of authentic Arizona-grown wines.

Verde Valley AVA

The proposed AVA would cover some 130,000 acres within the Verde Valley (roughly 200 square miles) situated in Yavapai County, Arizona.   It includes the communities of Cottonwood, Clarkdale, Jerome, Cornville and Camp Verde.  The Verde Valley AVA is defined by unique physical factors such as topography, soils, geology and climate.

Verde Valley Wine Trail

There are many Arizona wineries and tasting rooms on the Verde Valley Wine Trail that offer a variety of skillfully crafted wines to satisfy any wine taster’s palate. Every winery has its own unique personality and distinct wines for visitors to discover at each stop along the Wine Trail. Get your passport stamped along the Wine Trail to win great prizes!

The Verde Valley Wine Festival is Northern Arizona’s quintessential festival featuring the finest local Arizona wine, beer, spirits, gourmet food samples, live music, arts, and culture. This event is brought to you by Four Eight Wineworks to benefit the Arizona Vignerons Alliance and the Arizona Wine Growers Association. The Verde Valley Wine Festival, is in its fifth year and is typically held on Mother’s Day weekend in charming historic Clarkdale, Arizona. Come enjoy an afternoon of wine, food, music and fun!As with any event these days dates are set but unforeseen things could occur that could change dates and times so please check with the websites of promoters for changes.
Walkin on Main

The City of Cottonwood is celebrating the Heart of Arizona wine country and “Walkin’ on Main” November 14, 2020 from 11:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. The Verde Valley Wine Consortium will have Arizona’s best wines on site to taste and take home in our featured Wine Garden. Art and vendor exhibits line the street surrounded by the charming galleries, shops and local restaurants of Old Town Cottonwood. Walkin’ on Main also includes historic displays, car show from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m., and jazz/blues music.
